关于EVO

Derrick Campbell

With over 25 years experience in the sport of speed skating, Derrick has been to 6 Olympic Games with 3 as an athlete, and 3 as staff. He has been involved with the National Team Program for over 20 years, 11 as an athlete and 9 as a coach.
At the 1997 World Championships he won gold in the 500m event and was third in the overall classification. The following year he won a gold medal in the 5,000m relay event at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano. Over the course of his career Derrick won 15 World Short Track Championship medals. He also served as the skaters' representative to the International Skating Union from that 1998 to 2000.
After his retirement in 2000 Derrick graduated from the National Coaching Institute and began coaching at the Olympic Oval with involvement in the National Junior Program and Development Teams Programs. In 2004 Derrick joined US Speed Skating as the Short Track Program Director where he served until 2006. After his post with USS, Derrick returned to the Canadian Program and is currently the Men's National and Olympic Team Short Track Coach. Since leading the Canadian Men's Program Derrick has been instrumental in coaching his athletes to 3 Olympic medals, 9 World Championship medals, and 104 World Cup medals.
Professional awards include 2007 Canadian Coach of the Year Finalist, 2007 Quebec Coach of the Year, and has received the Petro-Canada Coaching Excellence Award in 2007, 2008, 2009. In his capacity as athlete and coach, Derrick has become a Short Track Speedskating equipment specialist. World class short-trackers have come to rely on his expertise to manufacture, test and bend blades.

Derrick曾获得诸多奖项,其中包括2007年加拿大教练员年度奖,2007年魁北克教练员年度奖以及2007、2008、2009年加拿大优秀教练员奖。

Johan Bennink

Johan's involvement in sport started as an athlete where he was Provincial Champion in both long track speed skating and cycling.
After his sporting career Johan held positions as the National Inline Team Coach, and as a professional marathon team coach for 3 and 5 years respectively. During his professional coaching career he helped to produce 2 long track Olympians at the Calgary and Albertville Winter Games.
With a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and as a specialist in metal technology Johan combined his education with his passion for skating and founded Maple. As the architect behind the design and manufacturing of Maples blades for over a decade, Johan now brings over 45 years of skating and engineering experience to the Evo group and its products.
Johan最初是以一名自行车运动员的身份开始了他的运动生涯,他曾是省内自行车和大道速滑冠军。在他的运动生涯结束后,其先后担任3年荷兰国家队轮滑教练员,以及5年职业马拉松队教练员。他在职业教练生涯中,先后培养出两名优秀运动员,并参加了卡尔加里和阿尔贝维尔冬奥会。
Johan不仅是一名出色的运动员和教练,他还是一名知识渊博的学者;他持有机械工程师的BSC,而且还是一名金属科技专家。结合他的知识和对速滑的热情,Johan建立了Maple Skates并担任Maple系列冰刀主设计师和生产师十余年之久。目前,他凭借45余年速滑和工程学的经验,一心致力于EVO Skates及其系列产品的研制。
